Resizing


It is possible to resize many of our rings, however there are a few limitations to consider, including: the size of the crown and the current size of the band. Sometimes, it is recommend rings not be resized due to their age. Should you wish to have a piece resized, please get in touch. Resizing is offered at a flat rate of £30 on many of our pieces, however some may incur an additional charge.




Care; Jewellery and other goods


Please be aware that many of these items have survived centuries given the right handling, wear, care and attention. When purchasing, this responsibility is passed on to the new owner. Antique and some vintage jeweller is not suitable to wear whilst gardening, playing sport, washing, bathing etc. Please consider your item when wearing or engaging in various activities. Discolouration or oxidisation may occur on some items. All items sold are good condition, unless otherwise stated, and have much life yet to live if well cared for and looked after. Paintings and other curiosities will require different attentions depending on their materials. If you are unsure of how to clean your item, please visit your local jeweller or specialist who can happily assist.




Returns; Exchanges & Refunds


It's incredibly important to us that our customers are happy and assured with their purchases. We offer an easy and supportive exchange or return policy and service:
We are happy to offer exchange or store credit across our pieces, if requested within 14 days of receipt. Eligible refunds must be requested within 7 days of goods received and items must be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original listed condition; unaltered and not having been re-sized. All returns must be agreed by prior notice and arrangement; goods returned without the correct process will not be eligible for refund. Goods are to be returned via a secure and insured service, at the customers expense, within 14 days of receipt with full tracking information. All goods must be marked with appropriate coding, including antiques to avoid return duty, taxes and changes. Any duty, taxes or charges for items returned are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from the refunded amount. Antique pieces are often delicate, and as such, must be handled with care. Damaged or broken items will not be eligible for a refund. ​




Shipping


We are delighted to offer a £35 world wide, secure shipping on all orders tracked with FedEx. Please note, handling times may vary - we would currently suggest a delivery time frame of 6-9 days location depending; while this may be generous, we would aim to deliver to you as soon as possible. However, if your order is urgent or you would like it by a preferred date please request this in writing when purchasing. Additional charges may apply. International orders may take up to 14 days for delivery. Orders are not posted on a Saturday or Sunday or public holidays, though exceptions may be made for special requests. There are a handful of countries that we cannot post to given UK laws, if you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to ask. Some limitations may include posting to; Africa, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Lithuania, Pakistan, Republic of Georgia, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, and in some instances, Singapore and UAE.




Customs, Taxes & Duties


Purchases over 100 years old will be marked 'antiques', as duty does not apply when purchasing antiques aged over 100 years old in most countries. There may be local customs charges which customers are liable to pay on imported goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of and manage this, we will lend support where possible. If a package is not retrieved because of refusal to pay customs charges, refunds will not be granted, without exception. All items will be shipped and declared with the full value stated.




Authenticity


Pieces are assessed and authenticated to the best of our knowledge. When without a hallmark or date, pieces are given an estimated time period, these time periods are based on the extensive knowledge and experience of our industry dealers and experts alongside various factors including style, cuts, metals and wear. Certificates and assessments can be requested and supplied for stones at an additional charge to the customer. It remains obvious that factual proof, such as photographs, cannot be given for many items and is the nature of the antiques and vintage industry to date based on knowledge and experience. Boxes


Please note pieces are not always provided in the boxes they are photographed in. Vintage and antique boxes run into the hundreds in their own right, and may just be used for styling purposes. Most items will be sent in modern velveteen boxes, however original vintage or antique boxes can be available at an additional cost. Should you wish to confirm or request boxes, please get in touch and allow for sourcing time.




Layaway


We are happy to accomodate layaway options where possible. Please get in touch if you would like to request layaway options. Layaway will only be available on items over £650, with a non-refundable deposit of £250. Please note layaway payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancelled purchase or missed payment deadline without prior arrangement.
